including personal injury and death claims related to asbestos, benzene, glutaraldehyde,
lead paint, mold and vinyl chloride.

Voluntary dismissal of lead paint poisoning case in City of Norfolk, Virginia.
·
Defended target asbestos manufacturer in shipyard cases filed
in Baltimore City prior to Chapter 11 filing; and currently represent tangential
defendant involved in manufacture of valves with certain asbestos-containing
components.

Obtained summary judgment in a significant number of lead paint
cases in Baltimore City involving claims of neurocognitive deficits, and tried
2 lead paint cases to jury verdict in Baltimore City, including limiting damage
to $5,500 in one case.
·
Obtained no payment Stipulation of Dismissal on behalf of Church
& Dwight Co, Inc. in vinyl chloride case involving a claim of terminal
liver cancer.
·
Defended a consumer product containing trace amounts of benzene,
raising multitude of defenses including lack of jurisdiction; federal preemption;
and Daubert challenge, and ultimately resolved via Mediation.
·
Settlement for $10,000 of mold case involving multimillion-dollar
damages to a newly constructed high school in Hildalgo County, Texas.
·
Defended claims of chemical burns allegedly caused by prolonged
dermal exposure to aqueous solution of glutaraldehyde.
