ATTORNEYS Jeffrey C. Shipley / Associate Overview: Mr. Shipley has extensive experience in products liability, including fire and life safety, flow control, and medical device litigation. He was a member of the core team of attorneys involved in Whitney & Bogris’ national representation of a latex glove manufacturer in over 350 personal injury cases, and as part of that litigation, he also coordinated defense efforts for the two most active jurisdictions. Mr. Shipley was also a member of the trial team that obtained a defense verdict in favor of that manufacturer in Alameda County, California. Mr. Shipley’s practice also includes clinical laboratory negligence, premises liability, and insurance defense litigation. In addition, Mr. Shipley has coordinated client compliance with residential and commercial alarm system ordinances in counties throughout Maryland. Following his service as law clerk to the Honorable Philip T. Caroom of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Mr. Shipley joined Whitney & Bogris in 1999.
